- EDS platform (clients only): account credentials (name, professional email), usage logs, and training data entered by your organisation’s users. This data is processed under a separate data processing agreement (DPA) with each client.
- Website analytics: we use privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies). Anonymised aggregate statistics only.
3. Legal basis for processing
- Responding to an inquiry or demo request: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Executing a contract or pre-contractual steps: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

- To provide, operate, and support the EDS platform for client organisations.

Data is stored on servers located within the European Union. Contact inquiry data is kept for up to 3 years after last contact. Platform data is retained for the duration of the contract and deleted within 90 days of contract termination, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
6. Third-party services
EDWARE uses a limited set of third-party services to operate the platform and website (cloud hosting, email delivery). Each provider is bound by a data processing agreement and operates within the EU or under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Object to or restrict processing.
