Platform

Eight links. One data model. Nothing re-typed.

EDS is a competency-management layer above your simulator, not a simulator. It holds the whole pedagogical chain from the approved framework to the readiness decision, and every object knows which one produced it.

Pedagogical content

Modules, objectives and control situations, governed.

Ready-to-use modules such as ADC Rating and APP Pre-OJT, or your own. Each carries its course tree, performance objectives, PCS with operational contexts and the Knowledge, Skills and Attitude expected for each, under an adapted competency model that only changes through an approved version.

  • Subject → Topic → Sub-topic course tree, one action verb per objective (manage, integrate, detect, perform…)
  • Control load analysed on six parameters, giving each PCS its equivalence class A to D
  • ACM with the EASA competencies and observable behaviours (OB1.1 to OB10.3), assessment conditions and minimum observations per competency

Exercise generation

Balanced series in one click, hand-tuned when you want.

Map PCS to objectives, set the constraints, and EDS distributes them across the series: minimum occurrences, diversity, balanced equivalence classes from one exercise to the next. Indicators show where a series drifts; the designer can still move any situation by hand.

  • Equivalence classes keep cognitive demand comparable across cohorts
  • Workload value per PCS, computed from the mobiles and tasks active during it
  • Exercise checked against the ACM conditions: duration, movements, peak conflicts, required scenarios

Scenario designer

A roadbook that times itself.

Define flights, vehicles, logs and ancillary tasks, place them on the timeline, and let EDS compute times over fixes from aircraft performance profiles and route coordinates. Each PCS is scenarised in one of its operational contexts; the 2D animated view shows the picture the trainee will face, minute by minute.

  • Aircraft performance from the ENAC CADO reference set
  • Ground fix editor and stereographic conversion for your airspace
  • Background traffic drawn from archived real traffic, picked by what each PCS needs

Simulator transfer

Your simulator's format, not ours.

No two simulators ingest the same flight plan. EDS ships a transfer template builder: your team describes the record your simulator expects once, with its own codes and lookup tables, and every exercise then exports in that format from a single button.

  • Table, CSV or pattern output; several templates per simulator
  • Thirteen transformations (WIDTH, LEVEL, TIME, MAP against lookup tables…), conditional sections, nested fix blocks
  • Export in the base offer; template set-up delivered as a service

Assessment

K/S/A captured in session, consolidated by TRDSS.

Instructors assess Knowledge, Skills and Attitude for each control situation on standard forms, each component carrying its criticality (C1 to C3), with a pedagogical justification and NGP value on every POK. Signed sheets lock and archive. TRDSS then derives PCS results, objective, behaviour and competency statuses without arithmetic compensation, and recommends whether the trainee is ready for final assessment.

  • Pre-OJT on simulator and OJT daily logs feed the same consolidation
  • Every status keeps its link to the evidence, in a replayable, hashed audit pack
  • Final PASS/FAIL decision and end-of-training gate under governance checks

Multi-site and analytics

One instance per training unit, one view for headquarters.

Each unit runs its own EDS instance with as many workspaces as it needs. Instances synchronise syllabi, PCS, exercises and assessment sheets into a consolidated management view, so a central training department can check that every site follows the approved plan.

  • Built-in xAPI Learning Record Store, exportable to your own LRS
  • Trainee, instructor, cohort and site dashboards
  • Sovereign European cloud, or your own premises

Four roles, one record

Everyone works on the same objects, from their own side.

Designer

Builds modules, maps PCS to objectives, generates series, writes the roadbook, exports to the simulator. Owns the transfer templates with the administrator.

Instructor

Runs the session with the roadbook open, assesses K/S/A per PCS on the standard form, signs the sheet. Logs OJT sessions with the same vocabulary.

Trainee

Sees the plan, the past sessions and the current competency picture. Reviews signed sheets. Nothing is hidden before the board.

Manager

Follows cohorts and sites, reads the TRDSS recommendation and the rule behind it, takes the final decision under the governance checks.

Deployment model

Built for ANSPs, which means built for sovereignty.

Training records are personal data and safety data. EDS keeps them where the regulator expects them.

One site, one instance
Each training unit runs its own EDS instance with as many workspaces as it wants inside. No multi-tenant mixing of ANSPs.
Headquarters view
A multi-unit organisation gets one instance per unit, synchronised into a consolidated management view.
Sovereign hosting
OVHcloud in the European Union by default, or your own premises. PostgreSQL, MongoDB for xAPI, OpenSearch, Redis.
Open data
xAPI statements in a built-in LRS, exportable to yours. REST API. CSV and Excel exports everywhere a table exists.
See it on your own modules

Bring a rating and a training plan. We'll run the chain on them.

A demo takes 45 minutes, online or on site. We'll also talk about the simulator you run and what the transfer looks like.
